Last night, Amazon Prime was clicked on for a pre- Halloween spooky movie night and under recommended horror, as well as comedy was My Best Friend’s Exorcism (2022). Since it was both horror and comedy, I gave it a whirl. This movie had a good selection of popular 80’s songs throughout and the typical 80’s teen movie plot points. So, if you are into Nostalgia 80’s feels, this one is for you. To be honest, the story felt awkward and I almost exited out until Chris Lowell, who plays Christian Lemon, came in to help the protagonist with his quirky humor. Overall, it was a spooky time that was mainly about how the power of friendship can overcome the growth pains of life, which is a nice reminder. So, the rate for this one is a 6.5 out of 10.
